Vice President, Commercial Excellence & Insights and Analytics
Geron Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Excellence & Insights and Analytics to drive commercial performance through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. This strategic leader will design commercial strategies, develop best practices for sales operations, and build an analytics framework to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities
Design and implement commercial strategies to maximize sales force productivity and resource allocation
Develop and maintain best practices for sales operations, targeting, segmentation, and incentive compensation
Lead initiatives to improve customer engagement and optimize promotional effectiveness across channels
Build and manage a robust analytics framework to provide actionable insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
Partner with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions using data-driven recommendations
Develop forecasting models and performance dashboards to monitor KPIs and identify growth opportunities
Oversee all dashboard needs for the organization and is accountable for the engagement with the right vendors managing any required services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related required
Minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, including at least 10 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Analytics, Forecasting, Market Research, and Competitive Intelligence
In depth knowledge of the commercialization of biopharmaceuticals, including brand management, sales planning and execution, market access, and regulatory environments
Strong business acumen and understanding of US and global oncology market dynamics and key value drivers
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in establishing working relationships within a diverse population
Ability to act with courage and candor while displaying the highest level of ethics, integrity, and trustworthiness
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead with sound judgement, effective communication, and credibility
Able to thrive in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mind-set
Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Ability to lead by example, attract and develop talent, build partnerships, and create a culture of collaboration and high performing teams that fosters open communication, constructive feedback, and organizational flexibility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present clinical data across different audiences
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience working within the EU commercial or regional alliance partners environment
Significant experience in the oncology market
