Responsibilities

Collect and analyze emerging trends in Data Center build and operation

Assess customer needs (hyperscalers, colos, others) and understand the technical solutions from competition

Understand elements of product / system differentiation combining HVAC equipment and controls. Analyze trade-offs

Translate needs into a strategy for products and solutions offering

Define the solution architecture and derive system level requirements

Breakdown system technical requirements into sub-system technical requirements

Drive enterprise level design synergies through the development of global platforms and solutions

Collaborate effectively with customers, product management, and various global stakeholders to align technical requirements and create a scalable, cost-efficient solution

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Data Center projects

Required

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline

15+ years of industry experience working with Data Center customers on cooling system solutions

Preferred

Masters in an Engineering or Industrial field such as Systems Engineering

Familiarity with industrial business models for HVAC, preferably in a Data Center business environment

Proven track record of building trusted relationships cross-functionally and managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/initiatives and ability to make decisions with conviction

Ability to solve complex problems using and finding alternate paths to achieve objectives in a highly constrained and fast-paced environment
