Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
Lead feature development and influence system architecture
Conduct and guide code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
Mentor junior and mid-level developers
Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional partners
Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance and reliability
Participate in technical interviews and team growth initiatives
Qualification
Required
Strong professional experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
Deep understanding of object-oriented design and clean architecture
Experience designing APIs and working with relational databases
Strong testing mindset (TDD, RSpec, integration testing)
Comfort owning features, systems, and technical decisions
Experience working in hybrid or on-site teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with performance optimization and scaling Rails applications
CI/CD design or DevOps collaboration experience
Mentorship or technical leadership experience
