Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies

Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports for the portfolio of brands for internal and external reporting

Develop and implement standardized reporting timelines, management reports, financials, and monthly/quarterly financial metrics

Oversee and manage inter-company reconciliations and activity

Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions

Manage the Payroll department across Ad Populum entities

Collaborate with department heads to assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting

Conduct regular audits of financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement

Mentor and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding financial reporting and taxation

Support external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations

Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed for senior management
