Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the catheterization laboratory, ensuring efficient scheduling and utilization of resources

Manage and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies, conducting regular audits and quality assurance checks

Collaborate with physicians and other departments to streamline processes and improve patient care delivery

Develop and implement training programs for staff to stay updated on the latest technologies and procedures in the cath lab

Required

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Current nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or must obtain within 30 days of hire date

Preferred

A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in cardiac catheterization lab and at least 1 year of leadership experience preferred

Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

Certification in Cardiac Catheterization or related specialty

Experience with budget management and resource allocation in a healthcare setting
