Responsibilities
Work with users to solve IT related issues such as printer and other minor hardware issues. Resetting passwords and general problem solving
Heavy IT Work - help with printer, computer, and portable device installations. Get involved with larger projects when needed. Not afraid to crawl under a desk
VoIP system management, including IP Phones, and mobile devices
Have a basic understanding of Cyber security requirements
Monitor and Maintain Cyber Security requirements
Desktop and device patch management
Manage user and server backups
Occasional nights, weekends and overnight travel may be required
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
The ability to multi-task and determine which projects or tasks need to take precedence over others at a moment's notice
Basic Networking. Understand switches and routers
Understanding VoIP and telecommunication systems, including IP phones and mobile devices like iOS and Android
Experience with on premises servers and cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and other SaaS platforms
Strong understanding of network security
Familiar with SIEM, EDR and MDR tools
Understanding common cyber threats, vulnerabilities and attack vectors
Knowledge of data protection regulations
Excel skills – Basic understanding of Excel so you can help users, update spread sheets and track data
PC Hardware structure
SQL Server DB maintenance as well as query scripting a plus
Visual Basic or other scripting language experience a plus
Install Multi Factor Authenticators on your personal mobile device
Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity or other computer related technologies or relevant experience
Ability to read, speak, and write in the English language as the primary means of communication with coworkers
