Undisclosed company is seeking a Vice President, IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services to lead the strategy, design, and operation of global infrastructure and cloud platforms. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency across on-premise and cloud environments while enabling business growth and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the enterprise infrastructure and cloud strategy aligned with business objectives, security requirements, and long-term scalability needs
Lead all infrastructure functions, including cloud platforms, data centers, networks, compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and end-user services
Oversee cloud architecture, migration, and optimization initiatives across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
Ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems and services
Establish infrastructure governance, standards, and best practices for security, reliability, and cost management
Partner with Cybersecurity, Application Engineering, Data, and Business leaders to support integrated technology solutions
Manage infrastructure budgets, capacity planning, and vendor relationships to optimize cost, performance, and service levels
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for infrastructure reliability and service delivery
Drive automation, infrastructure-as-code, and operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing infrastructure and cloud services organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
12+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud services, or enterprise technology roles
Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure and cloud operations in complex environments
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, compute, storage, and security
Strong understanding of infrastructure governance, disaster recovery, and operational risk management
Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale technology operations and influence executive stakeholders

Preferred

Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business (MBA)
Prior experience as a VP of Infrastructure, Head of Cloud Services, or equivalent senior leadership role
Experience driving cloud transformation, hybrid infrastructure strategies, or large-scale migrations
Background in regulated or high-availability industries
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, ITIL) are a plus
