Responsibilities
Drive requirements definition for projects
Perform risk management activities
Support verification and validation practices
Define system requirements
Design system architectures
Implement solutions to meet IVD standards
Take ownership of project deliverables
Facilitate decision-making by evaluating tradeoffs
Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to align needs and tradeoffs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
3–5 years of experience
Requirement writing experience in a regulated industry (medical device industry preferred)
Risk analysis (FMEA) experience in an engineering discipline (regulated medical device company preferred)
Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering principles, including: Requirements engineering, Tradeoff analysis, Risk management, Configuration management, Verification and validation
Ability to work cross-functionally with many stakeholders and balance multiple needs and tradeoffs
Preferred
Assay development experience, particularly with cytology specimens
Prior experience with: RETINA (Requirements & Test Integration Application), LucidSpark / LucidChart
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to evaluate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and priorities
