Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor I
PRADCO Outdoor Brands is a leader in manufacturing and marketing hunting and fishing products. They are seeking a Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor I to oversee tooling processes, ensure quality and safety, and manage a team of technicians while collaborating on product development and improvements.

Responsibilities
Deliver and improve tooling to support existing and new products that meet agreed upon targets for quality, cost, schedule and safety. Lead, Plan, Do, and Control projects. Provide technical leadership, judgment and guidance for company operations
Identify, plan and lead the implementation of new tooling to support new product introductions
Write Capital requests, track spending and schedules
Lead the planning for problem solving, replacement and improvement of existing tooling
Lead & coordinate pre-production work of tooling qualification
Do process capability studies of existing and new processes
Do safety audits & reviews of existing tooling
Plan and lead pre-production trial runs of new and revised tooling
Working with quality, assure process capability to sustain quality standards
Do the tool design and lead the tool making process
Assure adequate documentation for new tools
Assist in making prototype parts and tooling
Participate in design reviews of new products / processes
Lead technical problem solving
Do tool design work using CAD / CAM tools
Project communications and reporting
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods
Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree or Certification in Tool and Die making required
Minimum of 8 years' experience in manufacturing processes
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Understands complex problems and collaborates to explore alternatives
Organizes and prioritizes work to effectively manage multiple projects
Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
Good problem-solving skills
Must maintain company confidentiality
Working in a Team orientated environment
