Construction

Responsibilities

The Purchasing Assistant reports to the Director of Purchasing and is an integral part of the team who works closely with construction
Purchasing, and vendors
The Purchasing Assistant is the liaison with vendors and serves as a point of contact with construction teams
Assist with the setting up new communities
Engage with vendors on new bids and pricing for upcoming communities
Maintain vendor pricing and manage costs
Serve as point of contact for construction team
Review variances and assist with takeoff corrections
Create and maintain options related to community set up
Generate new home starts for the Construction Team
Process vendor changes as needed
Maintain community specific features and options
Generate area reports for distribution to Management team
Other duties as assigned

Required

Full-time availability for on-site role in Fort Worth, TX
Experience in purchasing processes and managing purchase orders
Ability to coordinate with suppliers and ensure accuracy in order processing
Experience in tracking inventory levels
Strong communication skills to maintain communication with various teams
Ability to assist with setting up new communities
Experience engaging with vendors on new bids and pricing
Ability to maintain vendor pricing and manage costs
Experience serving as a point of contact for construction teams
Ability to review variances and assist with takeoff corrections
Experience creating and maintaining options related to community set up
Ability to generate new home starts for the Construction Team
Experience processing vendor changes as needed
Ability to maintain community specific features and options
Experience generating area reports for distribution to Management team
