Responsibilities

Assist the Equity Derivatives desk with corporate/macro analysis and trade ideas
Provide daily marketing materials for Sales to discuss and distribute to clients
Support senior sales in all aspects of client coverage, including trade execution and disseminating trade recaps
Liaise with Middle Office to ensure timely trade settlement
Maintain databases that track our commercial activity
Work closely with our Trading desk on ideas and risk sharing

Required

Series 7 and 63 is required
Thorough understanding of the financial markets and market influences, including general current affairs
Ability to deal with the inherent conflict between the sales and trading functions and maintain a strong position in the face of opposition
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients and staff
Ability to relay complex news/developments in a concise/clear manner
Ability to work under pressure
