They are seeking experienced Plumbers/Pipefitters to layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Read, understand and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports

Installation or repair according to specifications (Copper/CPVC/ black iron)

Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading

Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls and mains, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools

Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by brazing, gluing, soldering and threading joints

Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets and/or Unistrut

Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydro-static testing, observation and other methods

Trouble problems in the piping systems we build

Install automatic controls used to regulate hydronic and refrigerant systems

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work 12 hour shifts

Competency in selecting pipe type, size and related materials, such as supports, hangers per job specifications

Preferred

2 years working as a plumber/pipefitting

Experience with Job Boss inventory system

2-3 Years in Pipefitting/Plumbing or similar trade
