Dassault Systèmes is a leader in multi-disciplinary simulation technology, and they are seeking a Computer Science intern to join their R&D Quality Engineering Test Automation team. The intern will develop JavaScript-based automated workflow tests for the 3DEXPERIENCE Simulation Apps, working closely with a global team to enhance testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Report directly to the SIMULIA Software Quality Engineering Director and work closely and under close mentoring with the Test Automation development team

Learn the fundamentals of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and Simulation applications and supported configurations

Help drive the collection of necessary information needed to define requirements from key stakeholders

Assist in the define, development and testing of new robust and reliable JavaScript test scripts and update and maintain existing test scripts

Report issues discovered and validate software fixes in a timely manner

Track, and report progress to your management chain verbally and through weekly status reports

Develop and verbally present progress of your contributions to key stakeholders

Required

Pro-active communicator with very excellent verbal and written English language skills

Detailed oriented self-starter with strong follow-up skills

Enjoy problem solving and applying critical thinking skills with a passion to learn

Strong working knowledge of JavaScript (required): You must be proficient in JavaScript, as it will be the primary language for development

Experience working with API (Application Programming interface)

Preferred

Experience working with a Source Code Management system is desirable

Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: High Performance Computing (HPC) cloud technologies
