Responsibilities

Mix calculated compound ratios specified per formula and written specifications, blending materials, weighing, and heating as prescribed
Install parts in fixtures, create reservoir and install spacers as required
Operate computerized ovens per specifications to ensure curing times and cycles are maintained as required
Vacuum cycle the parts as required to evacuate air and humidity
Clean components to remove excess compound and flash to ensure cosmetic appearance
Perform shelf-life audits daily as required
Work from layouts, prints, specifications, route sheets and general instructions
Review requirements, select appropriate mold / fixtures and obtain necessary materials
Prepare work area to ensure clean working surface
Use of hand tools, weight scale, molds, fixtures, vibrator, vacuum chamber, ovens, air gun, solvents and arbor press
Check work at prescribed intervals to ensure compliance with operating standards

Required

High School diploma or GED
Subject to FAA/DOT random drug and alcohol screening as required
