Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

Lead product development projects from concept through production release
Drive adherence to Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards
Ensure compliance with standards such as UL/CSA/IEC, VDA6.3, and IATF16949
Build and maintain project schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation plans
Coordinate cross‑discipline engineering work (mechanical, electrical, materials, manufacturing, testing)
Guide design activities including prototyping, DFM/DFA reviews, verification testing, and reliability qualification
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Product Management, Sales, and global engineering centers
Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications
Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and lessons‑learned initiatives

Qualification

PMP certificationSix Sigma certificationAgile/Scrum certificationElectro-mechanical developmentPLM systemsERP/MRP systemsCAD (NX preferred)Project managementCommunication skillsLeadership skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum certification
Proven experience leading complex engineering development projects
Experience in electro-mechanical product development
Experience with PLM, ERP/MRP systems
Strong communication and leadership skills in a global environment
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management
Background in industrial interconnects, automation connectivity, or power/electrical systems
Experience with CAD (NX preferred)
