Reliability Engineer - Paintline

Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Oversee all phases of the paint process (washing, AED coating, detailing) ensuring adherence to safety, quality, cycle time, and cost targets
Troubleshooting & Reliability: Lead root cause analysis and apply reliability engineering principles to resolve equipment and process issues
Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to boost productivity and minimize waste
Digital Transformation: Drive process digitization through smart sensors, IoT-enabled monitoring, and predictive analytics for real-time performance tracking
Reliability-Centered Maintenance: Develop and execute strategies to maximize equipment uptime and extend asset life
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to maintain a culture of operational excellence
Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, scopes of work, and documentation for paint-related projects
Innovation & Technology: Research and integrate automation, robotics, and AI-driven optimization for AED systems
Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations in paint and wastewater processes
Training & Leadership: Mentor paint technicians on AED processes, equipment handling, and safety practices
Facility & Equipment Management: Oversee installation of new facilities and replacement of legacy systems (robots, conveyors, automation)
Qualification
Required
+5 years of intensive experience in Anodic Electro-Deposition (AED) processes (mandatory)
A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related discipline is required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of paint application processes and pretreatment chemistry
Working knowledge of ISO 9000, 50001, and 14001 standards
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and timelines
Preferred
Experience with automation systems, robotics, and conveyor systems used in paint operations
Familiarity with Internet of Things technologies, predictive maintenance software, and manufacturing execution systems
Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and computerized maintenance management systems
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and delivering training programs
