Lead Mobile Vehicle Technician
Communications Northwest, based in Portland, Oregon, is a leader in Commercial and Public Safety two-way radio communications. They are seeking a Lead Mobile Vehicle Technician to oversee and perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of communication equipment in vehicles while providing leadership and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Overseeing and performing installations, maintenance, and repairs of communication equipment in vehicles
Troubleshooting and maintaining system integrity
Ensuring optimal performance of two-way radio systems
Providing leadership and guidance to other team members
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Effectively managing workloads and scheduled projects
Qualification
Required
Experience in vehicle electronics installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and techniques, and a strong capacity for problem-solving
Leadership and team management abilities with strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively
Physical ability to work with hand tools and perform lifting or maneuvering equipment as needed
A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Technical expertise in two-way radio systems, radio frequency (RF) communications, and electrical systems
Prior experience in public safety or a related field is a plus
Certifications related to communication equipment or electronics are highly desirable
Additional technical training or certification
