Command Assistant

Responsibilities
Manages appointments and schedules for senior leadership to ensure efficient time allocation
Ensures commitments made during meetings are followed though keeping the supervisor informed of their progress
Manages correspondence and routine email for leadership to ensure actions are completed
Drafts basic correspondence and documents using templates and established guidelines for leadership signature
Prepares travel orders, itineraries, and agendas for official travel in accordance with applicable instructions
Maintains front office procedures such as VIP visit protocols
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be registered or exempt from the Selective Service
A one-year probationary period may be required

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet Federal qualification requirements if you can show that your foreign education is comparable to education received in accredited educational institutions in the U.S
You must submit evidence of equivalency as provided by a credentialing evaluation service
