Responsibilities

Serve as a comprehensive security expert accountable for security risk management across logical and physical security domains

Assess security risk and communicate information about security threats and vulnerabilities to inform business decisions and drive strategy

Assess and report on effectiveness of security controls to inform security strategy, manage security risk, and enable business operations

Engineer security solutions across the network, physical, and cyber/logical domains that efficiently protect Meta infrastructure from security threats at scale

Develop and operationalize security guidance (e.g., standards, guidelines, playbooks) to align corporate policy, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements into a unified strategy

Integrate security solutions throughout the entire data center lifecycle including: planning, design, construction, operations, refresh, and decommissioning

Develop and implement custom detection rules tailored to mechanical cooling and electrical systems supporting facility operations of our data center buildings

Support security incident management across all domains and including maintaining and troubleshooting infrastructure supporting network security tools

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

10+ years of hands-on security experience

Technical experience across security domains

Experience establishing, scaling, and maturing security projects and programs

Experience supporting security for large-scale and/or mission-critical infrastructure and operations

Basic understanding of network engineering fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, network segmentation, and protocol analysis

Basic understanding of network security, including the design, implementation, and management of secure network architectures for large scale network infrastructure
