They are seeking a Seasonal Civil Engineering Intern to engage in various tasks related to municipal infrastructure and land development projects, including measuring construction quantities and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities
Measuring and calculating construction quantities to assist in grading projects
Ensuring that our water distribution systems and sanitary sewer systems are built to the highest quality standards
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Performing project inspections to ensure compliance with these documents
Preparing accurate records, reports, and project files
Aiding in design, plan preparation, and quantity estimating for roadway improvements and storm sewer systems
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or college student
Interest in civil or environmental engineering
Pursuing a major in civil or environmental engineering in higher education is highly preferred
Valid driver's license with an acceptable record
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, and crawl
Ability to handle tools and controls while lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
