Electromechanical Engineering Associate Manager, Cables and Harness
Lockheed Martin is a leader in space technology and is seeking an Electromechanical Engineering Associate Manager to lead a team in designing wire harness and cable systems for space applications. The role involves providing technical direction, project management, and supporting the development and growth of the Harness Core Team.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership, functional management and technical direction to a team of engineers responsible for electromechanical engineering research, design, development, and production support for the Harness Core Team
Provide the functional directorate, program management, and their customers effective project management, accurate and detailed plans and schedules and efficient production support
Further the department’s development, growth, and expertise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with wire harness and cables design of electrical\mechanical interconnects
US Citizenship, as this position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
5+ years professional experience
Demonstrated capability to work with other cross functional teams and suppliers in a formative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize, motivate, and lead large groups of diverse personnel that includes customers, partners, and suppliers that are geographically dispersed
Experience in Root Cause Analysis, having proven successes in leading investigation teams and implementing Corrective Actions
Preferred
Experience with wire harness and cables design of electrical\mechanical interconnects for satellite spacecraft equipment and/or missile systems
ECAD and/or MCAD modeling and drafting experience
Schematic capture, wire list generation, voltage drop analysis
Familiarity with Space programs, flight specifications, and/or COTS electronic equipment/components
Proficiency in Zuken E3 and/or similar ECAD
