Responsibilities

Design, test, and improve manufacturing systems, including automation, material handling, tooling, fixtures, and testing equipment
Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve efficiency
Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support safety, quality, and efficiency goals
Ensure processes comply with applicable regulations and standards
Work with vendors to determine specifications, purchase equipment or materials, and evaluate quality
Collaborate with management, engineering, and production teams to align manufacturing capabilities with schedules and demand
Apply statistical methods to forecast production needs and assess capacity requirements
Track efficiency and productivity metrics, conduct audits, and recommend improvements
Conduct training sessions and assessments for employees
Document current and ideal practices and ensure improvements are sustained
Utilize 3D CAD for design and commissioning of tooling and fixtures
Support multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proficiency with CAD software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
