Responsibilities
Originate and close Non-QM loans, ideally DSCR / investor Non-QM loans (primary lane at launch)
Convert referral and self-generated opportunities (agents, investors, property managers, CPAs, investor groups)
Run borrower discovery calls, issue scenario guidance, and drive files to submission using our checklist
Maintain pipeline hygiene in CRM (stages, next actions, notes)
Partner with processing to clear conditions efficiently
Represent Surest with professionalism and urgency—speed and clarity win in this market
Qualification
Required
2+ years originating ~$10 million+/year Non-QM residential mortgages, Non-QM and/or investor business strongly preferred
DSCR familiarity preferred (rental schedule, entity vesting, investor documentation, reserves)
Strong communication, follow-up, and borrower expectation management
Self-directed and accountable—startup environment means you own your outcomes

Active NMLS MLO license eligible for sponsorship in California (or ability to reinstate/activate quickly)
