Responsibilities
Review and assess loan files submitted by broker clients for compliance with FHA, VA, and conventional lending guidelines
Collaborate with loan structure and income teams to finalize approvals
Perform thorough credit analysis and process final approval files daily
Ensure loans meet investor guidelines and adhere to quality control standards (FHA UW, HUD UW, VA UW, VA IRRL, VA SAR, TrumsID Registration)
Maintain compliance and mitigate risk throughout the underwriting process
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of frontline originations underwriting experience (loss mitigation or servicing underwriting experience does not qualify)
Knowledge on Conventional +FHA OR VA (not required)
DE Certified or VA IRRL Certs is a plus
Experience with Encompass and proficiency in Excel preferred
Familiarity with FHA, HUD, VA, VA IRRL, VA SAR, and TrumsID Registration processes
