Responsibilities
Supervision and overall program management of the Head Start and Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) programs in Prince William County
Work collaboratively with the Supervisors of Early Childhood Special Education and school-based administrators to ensure continuity of preschool programs
Plan and provide professional learning for all employees who work with preschool students, including administrators, teachers, teacher assistants, and other employees
Provide direct supervision to assigned staff and support departmental budgeting and spending
Perform work under the direction of the Director of Preschool Programs
Qualification
Required
Ability to work in person and physically report for work on site
Experience in supervision and overall program management of preschool programs
Collaborative work experience with Supervisors of Early Childhood Special Education and school-based administrators
Experience in planning and providing professional learning for employees working with preschool students
Direct supervision experience of assigned staff
Support experience in departmental budgeting and spending
Ability to perform work under the direction of the Director of Preschool Programs
