This position provides technical oversight, safety compliance, and operational guidance for KC-135 aircraft wash, ground handling, and servicing-adjacent activities.

Responsibilities
Provide KC-135 subject-matter expertise for aircraft wash and appearance operations
Ensure strict compliance with applicable Air Force Technical Orders (TOs) and flightline safety rules
Advise wash crews on KC-135 aircraft configuration, access panels, sensitive systems, and restricted areas
Identify aircraft-specific limitations and risk areas during wash operations
Serve as the technical authority for KC-135 ground handling during wash execution
Support quality control and mission-essential wash operations
Coordinate with Flygirl Aircraft Detailing leadership and on-site Government representatives
Immediately report safety concerns, discrepancies, or potential aircraft damage
Qualification
Required
Prior KC-135 experience is mandatory
Must be eligible for access to U.S. Air Force installations
Preferred
Prior KC-135 Crew Chief or KC-135 Aircraft Maintainer experience (Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, or civilian equivalent)
Demonstrated familiarity with KC-135 ground operations and towing considerations
Experience operating in a controlled military airfield environment
Strong working knowledge of flightline safety, aircraft safety zones, and TO compliance
