Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage secure, scalable system integrations across enterprise platforms
Build and maintain API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) and middleware solutions
Ensure all integrations comply with HIPAA and US data privacy standards
Lead end-to-end integration initiatives , from requirements gathering to deployment
Implement and enforce data security, encryption, and access controls
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional US-based and global teams
Maintain detailed technical and compliance documentation
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in integration engineering or system integration roles
Strong hands-on experience with APIs, web services, and middleware platforms
Proven experience working in HIPAA-compliant environments
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong knowledge of security and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT, SSL/TLS)
Solid understanding of data formats and messaging (JSON, XML, event-driven systems)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capability
US-based resource only (citizenship or valid US work authorization required)
Experience working with US healthcare or regulated clients preferred
Preferred
Experience with iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, SAP Integration Suite)
Background in IAM, HRIS, EHR, ERP, or CRM integrations
Prior experience in client-facing roles for US enterprises
