Responsibilities

Proactively source top sales and Loan Officer talent through resume databases (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed), job boards, professional networks, and industry-specific channels
Craft and execute strategic outreach campaigns to attract passive talent and stand out in a competitive talent market
Conduct initial phone screens and reference checks, assessing candidate fit, motivation, and potential for success
Articulate the unique benefits of joining Pennymac, including compensation structure, career growth, and company culture, to help convert candidates from interest to hire
Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers to deeply understand their needs, sales team dynamics, and growth goals
Ensure compliance with federal and state hiring regulations, as well as internal hiring policies and processes
Manage candidate activity and workflows through our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS)
Stay current on market trends, compensation insights, and competitor hiring practices to help shape hiring strategy
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help drive innovation in sourcing and recruitment strategies
Embody and promote Pennymac’s values and culture throughout the candidate experience
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Required

2+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on sourcing and full-cycle recruitment of sales or Loan Officer professionals
Proactively source top sales and Loan Officer talent through resume databases (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed), job boards, professional networks, and industry-specific channels
Craft and execute strategic outreach campaigns to attract passive talent and stand out in a competitive talent market

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring partners
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple reqs in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEOC, ADA)
High level of business acumen, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a best-in-class candidate experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred

Financial services / mortgage industry experience strongly preferred
Proven success in headhunting and cold outreach in competitive markets
Prior experience recruiting in the mortgage or financial services industry is highly preferred
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ATS platforms (iCIMS preferred)
