$20/hr - $26/hrTEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Field Support Technician to provide on-site technical support across multiple locations in the Northeast DC and South Baltimore areas. The role involves responding to software break/fix incidents, performing installations and upgrades, and supporting a variety of peripherals.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve software break/fix incidents
Perform IMACs (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes), including software installations and machine upgrades
Support device refresh activities
Provide hands-on support for a wide range of peripherals:
Document and ID scanners
Barcode scanners
Credit card readers
Label printers
Signature pads
Dragon dictation microphones
RFID readers
Assist users at tech walk-up bars in staffed locations
Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing (preferred but not required)
Use LogMeIn for remote support when applicable
Qualification
Required
Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of Active Directory
Strong deskside support
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred
Experience in a hospital or clinical environment is a plus
Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing (preferred but not required)
