Manage the activities of a department or a discipline through subordinate supervisors and/or professionals
Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies
Responsible for the effective operation of activities of major significance to the organization. Decisions impact others in the immediate team and influences methods and techniques
Execute financials, business planning, organizational priorities, and workforce planning. Ensure that budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained
Typically manage employees who perform similar tasks. May manage supervisors, exempt, and non-exempt staff
Receive objective based assignments and determine resources to meet schedules and goals
Responsible for single function, location, and/or technical discipline
Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect department or multiple disciplines
Participate in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the department and possibly the division
Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group professionals, involving matters between sections and multiple units
Partner with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other external stakeholders
Communicate and present results and recommendations across discipline
Third level of management with human resource responsibilities. Typically, all work is performed through the management of others
Position typically reports to a direct report of a Director, Sr. Director, or Senior Leadership

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience
2 years of leadership experience
Strong accounting, tax knowledge, Pension and 401K skills
Strong accounting and leadership skills
