This role focuses on handling urgent loan files, managing a high-volume queue, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, and making critical corrections to loan documentation.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Process urgent loan files and ensure closings within tight deadlines
Manage a queue of 40–50 loans and prioritize tasks effectively
Make adjustments to cash-to-close amounts, debt-to-income (DTI) ratios, and seller credits
Restructure loans as needed during closing
Review borrower documentation, including credit reports and bank statements
Apply investor guidelines and add conditions to loans
Collaborate with branch operations teams to resolve issues and finalize loans
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of loan processing experience
Strong understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines
Experience with conventional loans, FHA, and VA loans
Knowledge of VA funding fees and COE requirements
Ability to identify and verify documentation, including large deposits
Experience with purchase transactions (not just refinances)
