They are seeking a Groovy Developer responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment of application code, while collaborating with architects and specialists to meet customer requirements.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance programs, including fixes for production issues, following functional and technical standards
Perform unit and integration testing for developed programs
Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs
Create and maintain operational documentation
Utilize tools for configuration management, debugging, and code management
Research and troubleshoot issues independently before escalation
Support installation of application releases into production
Communicate accurate and timely status updates
Work collaboratively within a team environment
Analyze and design application enhancements and fixes
Estimate time and schedule for tasks; monitor progress and resolve issues
Coordinate work with other developers and assist team leads in tracking progress
Develop application designs aligned with system specifications
Perform performance and tuning diagnostics as needed
Engage with users to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
Stay informed about industry trends and apply them appropriately
Identify, track, and resolve issues and risks; develop contingency plans
Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Strong programming and scripting skills in Groovy, PowerShell, and experience with Docker
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and quality standards
Familiarity with configuration management and debugging tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience in state or federal environments
