HR Business Partner
GSD Search, LLC is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide professional support to Leaders, Managers, and individual plant contributors across two plants. This role involves strategic and administrative responsibilities, including advising management on employee relations, coordinating recruiting initiatives, and participating in safety initiatives.

Responsibilities
Understand core business objectives and how HR goals link to business priorities
Serve as the daily point of contact for employees and people managers related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
Advise management in the appropriate resolution of employee relation issues, conduct investigations, and handle employee relations counseling with the related employee population
Coordinate recruiting and staffing initiatives required for the facility, including background checks and pre-employment drug testing in conjunction with the Manager, Talent Acquisition, and corporate processes
Coordinate new employee orientation/onboarding activities, employee development and training, and associated recordkeeping
Coordinate documentation and communication of Worker's Compensation-related issues with the Director, EHS as well as with state agencies and/or insurance representatives as required or requested
Participate in Safety initiatives throughout the plant with leadership
Prepare presentations for internal communications (e.g., monthly birthdays and work anniversaries for bulletin boards)
Qualification
Required
Support two plants under the direction of the Plant Manager and Manager of HR

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office)

Must be able to travel at least once a month
Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity
Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
