This entry-level role involves planning, coordinating, and executing drilling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining client specifications.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of drilling and foundation projects supporting substation construction
Coordinate project logistics, including equipment mobilization, material procurement, and subcontractor management
Support project documentation efforts such as RFIs, change orders, submittals, and daily reports
Track labor, equipment, and material costs to maintain budgetary control and accurate reporting
Conduct routine job site visits to observe work progress, verify safety compliance, and ensure quality standards are met
Communicate effectively with field crews, engineers, and clients to resolve operational challenges
Prepare and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and progress reports for leadership review
Collaborate with the Safety Department to reinforce PAR Electric’s zero-injury culture and compliance with company and OSHA standards
Participate in project closeout activities, ensuring documentation accuracy and lessons learned are captured for future improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent field experience)
1–3 years of project coordination, construction management, or field supervision experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
Understanding of construction scheduling, cost tracking, and documentation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture and adherence to company and client safety expectations
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to fast-changing project environments
A passion for learning and growing within the utility construction and substation industry
Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with both field and office personnel

Preferred

Prior experience in drilling, foundations, or substation construction
