Responsibilities

Utilize your knowledge in environmental engineering to contribute to meaningful advancements

Manage utility systems and address environmental issues within the department

Provide technical support and guidance

Prepare various reports and permit applications

Assist in the coordination of activities of outside contractors and the institutional personnel for projects

Intervene in rare situations to ensure a safe and secure environment

Work closely with the relocation team to ensure a smooth transition and continued efficiency in operations

Required

Two years as an Environmental Engineer or an Air Quality Engineer (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

Five years of professional engineering experience in environmental protection or in environmental project development, design and/or construction

You must be in possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists

Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required

You must meet the PA residency requirement

You must be able to perform essential job functions

You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
