Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform using RPG, CL, and SQL
Work on application modernization projects, including API integration (REST/SOAP)
Design and optimize DB2 for i (AS400) databases, including indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures
Develop and integrate web services (REST APIs, JSON, XML) for interoperability with modern applications
Utilize IBM i Web Services to extend AS400 functionalities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend and backend developers

Qualification

AS400/iSeriesRPGSQLAPI integrationDB2 for iCloud integrationSecurity best practicesJSONXML

Required

5+ years of AS400/iSeries experience in RPG, CLP, and SQL
Hands-on experience with APIs (REST), JSON, XML, and web service integration
Understanding of security best practices for IBM i applications

Preferred

Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure) is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred
