The Commissioning Technical Lead I – Mission Critical is responsible for ensuring that all systems and components are installed and operate per project specifications, while assisting senior leads with field responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Reviews drawings, specifications, Sequence of Operations, and design specs to create testing documents for commissioning testing requirements

Contributes to the development of System Start Up Matrices and collaborates with Project Managers on schedule development for their specified disciplines

Works on building out the commissioning software with the correct dependencies for proper tracking and equipment/system turn over

Integrates schedules into the commissioning software to assist with Key project indicators

Runs commissioning meetings with the subcontractors to ensure proper project turnover

Tracks commissioning issues for quick and efficient closure

Maintains training portfolio to ensure they are compliant with the company and industry standards to preform work

Secondary contact for field coordination and client needs

Responsible for verification in the field and commissioning software that all deliverables are uploaded, filled out accurately, and field installations meet the design requirements

Key communication point for needed project deliverables

Travel as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in any engineering field and 1 to 2 years of experience in commissioning preferred, or a combination of education and experience

Advanced knowledge of the commissioning processes and procedures for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing

Excellent organizational, leadership, communications and analytical skills

Ability to train, coach, and lead staff
