Compal is seeking a Procurement Project Manager to lead procurement projects for server new initiatives. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project risks, and tracking procurement project progress to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead procurement project material preparation for server new projects in factory based on the NPI milestone
Coordinate with server R&D, Sourcing and factory team for cross-functional collaboration to resolve inter-departmental bottlenecks and ensure procurement project progress
Manage procurement project risks specific, such as server component shortages, technical specification mismatches; develop contingency plans (e.g., working with R&D and sourcing for alternative supplier pools) and track risk mitigation actions
Track and report procurement project progress to stakeholders, prepare project status reports (including milestones achieved, risks, and next steps), and lead project material status reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Electronic Engineering
2-3 years of server factory procurement project management experience
Basic understanding of server hardware (CPU, RAM, SSD, motherboard, etc.) technical specifications
Basic understanding of server new project workflows
Basic understanding of the server component supply chain
Strong project management skills to track milestones and manage tasks
Ability to handle multiple concurrent procurement projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive cross-functional teams
Ability to present project updates clearly to stakeholders
Proactive risk management mindset
Ability to identify potential issues in server procurement projects
Ability to implement effective solutions
