The Design Engineer will support various engineering projects, contributing to the entire product development cycle and collaborating with project managers and technicians to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
Provide Engineering functions for the entire product development cycle (design, development, qualification, and certification)
Write and review test plans and reports
Collect and maintain test data and perform analyses as needed
Participate in and provide direction to technicians for testing
Apply root-cause analysis to solve problems as needed
Limited, occasional travel to suppliers, customers, test laboratories, and other Safran facilities
Use of computer aided design (CAD) software to design and analyze parts and assemblies
Integrate all technical, cost, value, reliability and manufacturability requirements
Design responsibility for preparation of engineering drawings
Approves release of drawings to Production
Engineering support as necessary of in-house production effort and products in the field
Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
Regular, predictable attendance is required; Other duties may be assigned
