Assistant Director of Community and Workforce Operations

Responsibilities

Report student enrollment, performance, and outcomes for Community and Workforce Education
Report program enrollment, performance, and outcomes for Community and Workforce Education
Synthesize reporting for state and federal funding
Develop, implement, and manage the operational strategies that support the college’s community and workforce education programs
In collaboration with the CWE Strategist, design evaluation systems that align with the Higher Learning Commission
Serve as a point person for coordination with the Higher Learning Commission
Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budget management, data tracking, and reporting
Directs, oversees, and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of enrollment management; assumes responsibility for the integrity of enrollment functions; participates in enrollment audits, including waitlist management, for noncredit programs; directs the implementation of improvements
Optimize processes to enhance efficiency of internal systems
Oversee scheduling systems are aligned with facilities, room scheduling, and marketing needs
Implement technology solutions to support operations, track performance, and improve data management
Analyze and ensure data reporting complies with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as college policies. Provides support for related training
Coordinate with accreditation bodies and ensure that all necessary certifications and accreditations are maintained
Ensure Contracts and Agreements are coordinated within college policy and will serve as the central repository
Implement technology solutions to support operations, track performance, and improve data management
Oversees progress of the modernization initiatives within CWE ensuring that benchmarks and timelines are met
Serve as CWE point person related to technology integration and/or registration management systems
Develops and implements effective business plan, departmental budgets, and fiscal procedures to meet Community and Workforce Education goals
Collaborates with other department directors to collect data for quarterly reports
Assesses the effectiveness of the Department programs and develops recommendations for improvements or modifications
Assesses non-credit to credit and/or credit to non-credit pathways
Manages fiscal oversight and evaluation and reports progress/results to the Vice President of Community and Workforce Education
Performs other duties as assigned
Attend work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned

Required

Master's degree in Education Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field
Three (3) years of full-time experience working in or managing an educational program
Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered
Supervisory experience to include coaching, performance management and team dynamics
Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities
Must pass a background check
Knowledge of the administration of Community and Workforce Education programs
Knowledge of program management with a self-supporting budget
Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other College-supported software applications
Planning, organizational and supervisory skills
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to prepare reports
Ability to work with a variety of constituents
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to work well with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment
Ability to maintain professionalism, patience and understanding in stressful situations
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities, generations, interest and skill-levels
