Responsibilities
Working with a diverse team to develop software in an agile-like manner
Regularly meeting with mentors
Supporting software engineers by shadowing their daily tasks and performing duties under mentors’ supervision
Assessing ideas and contributing to the development of new applications
Participating in code reviews and assisting in the development of software documentation
Testing software for functionality, usability, and reliability
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with any one of the following languages: Java, Python, C++, etc
Ability to effectively work within a software engineering team
Great communication skills
Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university
Preferred
Experience with Cloud infrastructures – AWS or C2S preferred
Experience building scalable, web-based applications
Experience building User Interfaces – React preferred
Experience with Containerization – Docker preferred
Experience with training and developing machine learning models
Experience developing performant algorithms in various domains
