Responsibilities

Supporting the execution and management of the SPEED program for the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)

Providing comprehensive staff assistance across a range of administrative, policy, permitting, and programmatic matters

Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial and budgetary data, including tracking permit program revenues and expenditures

Developing and implementing the budget for the various programs within the SPEED initiative

Collaborating with senior officials on sensitive and potentially contentious issues

Managing critical information and consulting with subject matter experts

Compiling and analyzing relevant data and preparing detailed reports that outline findings and recommendations for program consideration

Required

One year as an Administrative Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)

Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree

Any equivalent combination of experience and training

You must meet the PA residency requirement
