New GradSocialLoop is building a social platform that helps people turn intent into real-world connection. They are looking for a Software Engineer Intern who wants hands-on experience building a real consumer product used by real people, working directly with the founder and shipping features end-to-end.

Responsibilities
Designing and building product features across frontend, backend, and data layers
Working on core SocialLoop systems such as:
Event discovery and feeds
User profiles and social graphs
Group coordination and community features
Implementing and improving APIs, databases, and application logic
Collaborating directly with the founder on product decisions and technical architecture
Shipping fast, iterating based on real user feedback, and improving performance and reliability
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in software engineering, product development, or startups
Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web or mobile frameworks
Comfort working with APIs, databases, and structured data
Ability to learn quickly in an unstructured, early-stage environment
High ownership mentality — you can work independently and push things forward
Curiosity, initiative, and a bias toward shipping over perfection
Preferred
Experience with React, React Native, or similar frameworks
Exposure to Firebase, Supabase, or backend-as-a-service tools
Prior personal projects, internships, or startup experience
Interest in social products, consumer apps, or event-based platforms
