Responsibilities
Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers
Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written
Facilitate and train new hire technicians using a prescribed curriculum
Partner with the management team to identify training opportunities for new hires
Take an active role in encouraging training completion and compliance
Understand and promote Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers
Qualification
Required
Extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
Ability to diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers
Ability to complete repairs within their capabilities and as written
Ability to facilitate and train new hire technicians using a prescribed curriculum
Ability to partner with the management team to identify training opportunities for new hires
Ability to encourage training completion and compliance
Understanding and promotion of Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
Following safety guidelines and reporting potentially unsafe situations
Good verbal and written communication skills
A strong desire to mentor and train others
Basic computer skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions
A valid driver's license
Preferred
Previous experience in repair or parts shop
