Responsibilities
Creates, coordinates, and manages advanced level projects, including organization-wide system implementations or upgrades
Exhibits advanced proficiency in project management methodology, tools, and practices
Manages 8 to 15 project team members
Takes on leadership opportunities within the PMO
Acts as a mentor to new PMs and/or PM Is or IIs
Is a champion for PMO project management methodology
Qualification
Required
Eight (8) years of experience as an IT Project Manager with increasing responsibilities
Outpatient Epic experience is required
Strong background in clinical systems interoperability and managing complex data workflows across platforms
Exceptional ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, bridging communication between clinicians, IT specialists, and vendors
Knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety standards in critical care environments
Experience with call or contact centers required
Proficient in creating detailed documentation for complex projects
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written communication, with project staff, sponsors, and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent advanced-level projects
Ability to be a trusted business partner to project sponsors and stakeholders
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Master's degree is preferred
Active PMP certification (PMI) is preferred
Hospital project experience preferred
