Senior Requirements Engineer

Responsibilities

Support modeling and simulation tasks, including:
Development of modeling capabilities to simulate, emulate and evaluate technology options identified by RVE
Testing and operation of modeling and simulation capabilities
Analyses comparing model and simulation results to experimental findings
Analyses identifying requirement shortfalls, missing functionality, and model improvements
Support full life-cycle technology implementation tasks, including:
Space technology, spacecraft, and high-altitude balloon flight hardware design and fabrication
Space technology, spacecraft, and high-altitude balloon flight software/firmware design and development
Laboratory research, test and assessment design, technology validation testing and experimentation
Re-engineering and re-design of software and hardware after testing
Support the Government in shipping and receiving of flight experiment and assembly, integration, and testing hardware/software

Required

5+ years of experience in requirements engineering in the defense industry
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of requirements engineering principles and methodologies
Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Jira)
Experience working with Configuration Management processes
AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE with SCI ELIGIBILITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
