Responsibilities
Lead and manage month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Oversee general ledger maintenance, ensuring entries and reconciliations adhere to accounting standards
Coordinate and support financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor queries
Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Review and approve journal entries while maintaining compliance with company policies
Develop and implement accounting practices that enhance efficiency and accuracy
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and attention to detail
Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial reporting needs
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles
Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger functions
Proven experience with financial statement audits and account reconciliations
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Strong communication and organizational skills
