Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment for accuracy and quality
Stores supplies in designated locations according to established guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized inventory area
Distributes supplies and equipment to departments as needed, ensuring timely delivery and availability
Assists in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular counts, and reconciling discrepancies
Utilizes inventory management software to track supplies, update records, and generate reports
Communicates with vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, or returns, coordinating with the purchasing department as necessary
Monitors supply usage and initiates reorders to maintain adequate inventory levels, preventing shortages
Follows safety protocols for handling, storing, and distributing medical supplies, ensuring compliance with OSHA and facility guidelines
Provides support for special projects, equipment setup, and supply chain optimization as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Complies with all policies and standards
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or a related field
Knowledge of materials management, inventory control, and supply chain processes
Proficiency in using inventory management software and standard office applications
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift and move heavy materials, as required for the role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clinical and administrative staff
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet supply demands
Knowledge of safety protocols related to handling medical supplies and equipment
Preferred
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
