Responsibilities

Work together with other scientists in the group to design and execute experiments using cell culture and confocal microscopy imaging techniques
Keep detailed records of the research findings using an electronic notebook
Communicate and present results to a diverse group of scientists during internal meetings

Qualification

Cell biology researchMolecular biology techniquesAdvanced cell cultureCRISPR/Cas9CommunicationCollaboration skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Required Majors: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
Hands-on research experience in cell biology/biochemistry/molecular biology lab environment is required

Preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Experience in advanced cell culture techniques such as RNAi, cell line engineering using CRISPR/Cas9 or PiggyBac transposase systems
Interest in biomolecular condensates, intrinsically disordered proteins, chromatin and transcriptional regulation
