NXP Semiconductors is seeking an Analytical Lab Technician for the Physical Analysis Labs at the ATMC site. The role involves maintaining quality control over manufacturing chemicals, monitoring contamination, and assisting in investigations to identify root-causes of failures.

Responsibilities

College degree in a scientific discipline, general chemistry education and experience in basic laboratory techniques required

Work is in both wet lab and cleanroom lab environments

Working with a large variety of analytical instrumentation and techniques including VPD-ICP-MS, HPLC, HPIC, TOC, ICP-MS, GC-PDD/TCD/FID/MS, Raman, XRF, Titration Analysis, Cyclic Voltammetry

Experience with process control preferred (6-Sigma)

Be able to draw conclusions from analytical measurements

Routine but safe work with extremely hazardous chemicals is required

Attention to detail is imperative

Reliability and dependability is extremely critical to this position

Must be a fast-learner, with ability to work with little supervision

Always work with an eye towards safety
